Microsoft actively detects and removes KMS-based activators through Windows Defender (now Microsoft Defender) and updates. The company has also introduced features like “Windows Security” that flag these tools as severe threats (usually “HackTool:Win32/AutoKMS”). Additionally, Microsoft’s Digital License system in Windows 10/11 makes unauthorized activation much harder.
