Whitney, a former ballet prodigy turned visual artist, grew up in Asheville, North Carolina. After graduating from RISD with a BFA in Mixed Media, she relocated to Austin, Texas, where she now runs a small studio called “Wright Impressions.” Her work—abstract canvases interlaced with digital animation—has been featured in The Austin Chronicle and Artforum .
