At its heart, Chachi 420 is a story of paternal love pushed to extremes. The plot follows Jaiprakash Paswan, a movie dance assistant who is devastated after a divorce from his wife, Janki. When he is denied visitation rights to his daughter, Bharti, he hatches an audacious plan: he uses his film industry connections to transform into "Laxmi Godbole," a dignified Maharashtrian nanny.
