This paper examines the educational text Taxidi stin Ellada 2 (A Journey to Greece 2), a foundational resource for intermediate students of the Greek language. Beyond its function as a language acquisition tool, the text serves as a cultural compass, guiding learners through the complex topography of Greek history, geography, and tradition. By analyzing the text’s pedagogical structure, thematic focus on regional diversity, and integration of historical continuity, this study argues that the book successfully fosters intercultural competence while reinforcing linguistic proficiency.
