Open the and click your name at the bottom of the sidebar. Locate iMovie in your purchase history. Click the Download (cloud) icon.
The short answer: The Mac App Store only hosts the most current version of iMovie (as of 2025, that is iMovie 10.4 or newer). Apple does not provide a public archive of older versions. Once a new version is released, the previous one is removed from the store.
