Old errors like “Could not decrypt H3” or “Bad AES key” are now replaced with detailed pointers: missing hash, corrupted app file, or wrong ticket version.

If you get “Cannot retrieve common key” error, create keys.txt in the same folder as cdecrypt2.exe with content:

Always decryption by checking if the output folder contains a RomFS subfolder with a reasonable file size. If that folder is empty or missing, keys are wrong or the file is not NCCH-encrypted.
