In the climactic battle, Shaggy and Scooby accidentally ingest a necklace of catnip, turning them into super-powered, Kung Fu-fighting werecats (comic relief). Fred, Daphne, and Velma use the zombies' own weakness (they dissolve in moonlight) against Simone and Lena, exposing them to the full moon. The werecats age 400 years in seconds and crumble to dust.
